GBD is seeking an experienced and multilingual “export sales manager” to join our team. This role is essential in managing and overseeing the entire export process for used car parts throughout Europe and the rest of the world. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, Norwegian and Lithuanian is an advantage , but not a requirement, with knowledge of additional languages considered a significant advantage.

You will collaborate closely with the COO, CEO and our export sales staff to ensure efficient and accurate export operations.

Grønvolds Bil-Demontering AS is one of the country’s leading recycling companies for used original parts for newer cars.

We currently have 44 employees and had a turnover of approximately NOK 133 million in 2023.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Management

·      Oversee all export operations, including sales, export declarations and documentation.

·      Ensure compliance with ADR and other relevant regulations.

·      Verify correct labeling and adherence to shipping requirements for all goods.

·      Maintain accurate and complete records of all shipments.

Coordination with seller and customer

·      Act as the primary contact for transport companies and courier services.

·      Work closely with the export sales team to ensure smooth communication and alignment of goals.

Regulatory Compliance

·      Ensure all goods meet local and international laws and regulations.

·      Keep updated on changes in export-related legal requirements.

·      Industry Expertise

Qualifications and Skills

·      Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus especially Norwegian and Lithuanian . This will give you an advantage as an applicator.

·      Proven record in export management or a related field (e.g., transport, logistics).

·      Experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with car parts is highly valued.

·      Strong understanding of ADR regulations, customs declarations, and shipping documentation.

·      Familiarity with international and local transport regulations.

·      Strong organizational and communication skills.

·      Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

·      Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
